The 4 km long and 120 m deep Hintertux glacier is one of the two ski resorts in the world offering possibility to do winter sports all year round. The second one, the Swiss Zermatt, is also located in the Alps nearby. Needless to say, in the end of March there is powder and all slopes and lifts are open. Glacier is no joke, for it moves constantly and they have to adjust or even move the lifts a few times a year just to keep pillars in an upright position.
