Geoff Landon-Browne is rebuilding the flight deck of a Lancaster bomber in his garage. He says that he ultimately hopes to reconstruct the whole 20 feet of flight deck and every crew station. He marvels at the young men who flew these planes more than 70 years ago, and the conditions under which they worked.
