The New Mexico Thunderbirds were looking to even out their record to 12-12 but the Sioux Falls Skyforce had other plans. Even though the disparity in record doesn't show it, tonight's matchup is one fans won't forget anytime soon. The game was tied at the end of the first quarter, then the first half. The end of the third saw Sioux Falls take the final lead. Thanks to some high flying three pointers from New Mexico, the Thunderbirds tied the game at 94 a piece but with 2.8 seconds left, the Sioux Falls Skyforce got a three point lift from Sean Marshall. The Sioux Falls Skyforce held out for a 97 to 96 win.
