(14 Sep 1961) Invention number one is a new kind of sailing boat, designed and built by Brian Jones of Bognor. It's more or less a surf-board, with a hull only about a foot deep. It has twin masts and sails and is, in fact, designed for racing against catamarans. ® Invention number two is the work of Mick Walton of Somerset, whose ambition is to fly like a bird. With his home-made wings, he thought he would be able to fly! But.......
