Fr Ignatius gives the homily at Bloomington, IN on Dec 16, Gaudete Sunday, the third Sunday in Advent on how we should rejoice in the nearness of God. Father exhorts us to reflect on whether going to Church and the nearness of Christmas gives us joy, and if it does not, to discern why and repent. He connects this to living a selfless and virtuous life that brings us closer to Christ. If we rejoice in Christ, then Christ will rejoice in us.
