Testing another generator from www.AuroraGenerators.com This is a prototype Aurora is testing. It is a new two cylinder liquid cooled diesel engine. It runs at 1800 RPM not 3600 like others. The alternator Aurora custom built to run at 1800 RPM and already has electrical approval on it. This 6000 watt generator will last three times longer than traditional air cooled portable diesel generators. The enclosure is based on the larger standby generators but a fraction of the size. At the moment it sounds loud because there is no base on it and the doors are open. Did not want to full the tank so using external fuel supply from a jug and battery on the opposite side. Total weight is about 500 lbs.
