ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Quitting tobacco use is a resolution some make when starting the new year, yet it can be one of the hardest to keep. News 13's Lauren Brigman shares tips from Tobacco Addiction and Treatment Specialist at Mission Hospital, Fern Webb. Mission Hospital also has a program to help you kick the habit. Each week you can meet one on one with a specialist at Mission. They also hold 7-week classes twice a year at least, to also see you through the quitting process. The program is held at Mission Hospital, located at 1 Hospital Drive in Asheville. Tobacco Addiction Specialists say keeping your hands busy through crafts, crossword puzzles and stress balls are good ways to help kick the habit.
