Ok spelling apps weren't a go yet- he wanted to eat. So we had a long mini convo about food. He did a great job. Told me what he wanted to eat, what room we eat it in and what he needed for food. Then he picked out a movie. So I'm working on a reduced prompt for spelling- I was guiding his arm or holding on to his hand. Now I'm pointing or only lightly guiding his finger so he can motor plan it. It takes Kreed months to motor plan something this complex. So this is the beginning! Once I realized he just needs practice and time, he had learned to do a lot of things. I never have a time table of when he will do it on his own- he always will get there- just on his time table and what his body allows him to do. So I'm hoping in a few months he will have some of the words down! I will document his progress here and Facebook.
