How long does it take to walk all the way across Minecraft on PS4 and Xbox One?

The answer, of course, is ages - 52 minutes and 44 seconds to be more precise.

Chaney once completed the same challenge on Xbox 360 in around 6 minutes. We heard that the next gen PS4 and Xbox One Minecraft worlds were 36x the size, so Gordymills set about finding out the truth!

The map spans from -2560 to +2560, which is 5,120 blocks. But if you know anything about us, you'll know that we don't take shortcuts. Gordy took the diagonal route, the equivalent of 7,241 blocks. We condensed that 52 minute journey into a 4 minute time lapse for you guys.

~~ How Big Is It? ~~

Good question. In this series, we walk across entire game worlds in pursuit of knowledge. The aim? We want to know just how big that game world is, in real terms. Then we time lapse the footage so you don't have to sit there for hours, like we did.

Is it stupid? Yes. But is it a waste of time?! Also yes.
