Mysteries of Parashat Beha'alotcha The Book of Numbers, the Orlando Massacre and Post-Shavuot Thoughts: What Does it Really Mean to Receive the Torah? After seven weeks of anticipation, this week all of Israel celebrated the Festival of Shavuot, time of receiving the Torah anew. The Shavuot experience is exhilarating and inspiring. But how do we know that we have truly received the Torah and re-committed ourselves to the Sinai Covenant, on a deep, soul level? This week's edition of Temple Talk finds Yitzchak Reuven and Rabbi Richman exploring this question as they reflect on the themes of the Book of Numbers, the scourge of Islamic terror, and the huge strides being made in our generation towards the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.
