Here we are at Tarrytown Station, where we see CSX Train Q430, the nightly northbound freight to Selkirk Yard, as it makes a ton of Notch 8 noise coming through the station. The reason for the amount of noise and the slow speed was because Q430 had to wait at the signal at CP25 for a southbound to clear the switches from 3 to 2. Tonight's consist is SD40-2's 8842 on the point with 8840 (Conrail Quality painted), 8843, and 8846 trailing along with GP38-2 2718 and a 105 car mixed freight. As a side note, as of a couple of days ago, 8840 is the only remaining SD40-2 that is in Conrail paint, due to the fact that 8844 has been repainted into Dark Future.
