They discuss the Walkera Voyager 4 drone. Dubbed “The Flying Telescope” by the company, the original version featured an 18x optical zoom camera. The Voyager 4 has now been upgraded with a 30x zoom camera and a larger battery, allowing for a full 20 minutes of flight time. Its controller features a third joystick to control the camera, which captures 4K video and is mounted on a three-axis gimbal. The Voyager 4 is available at a cost significantly lower than other drones equipped with an optical zoom camera and Lorentzen reports that, in his experience, it is an extremely stable, reliable aircraft.
