Megadeth cancel Soundwave festival Dave wanted an apology from promoter -- ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist's band Devil You Know film 1st music video -- Grim Reaper to play in North America first time since 80's -- Kataklysm drum run-down -- Spiralarms play first gig with ex-Death Angel drummer!

MEGADETH have canceled their Australian tour as the promoter allegedly and mistakenly blamed Megadeth for removing Jason Newsted's band NEWSTED off the billing for MEGADETH's off dates during their time in Australia.
Dave Mustaine has released a statement on the official MEGADETH Facebook page:
"Due to circumstances beyond its control, unfortunately, MEGADETH has to cancel their Australian dates.
"Seven Years Aloneto the fact that Jason Newsted is performing at Soundwave. Jason and I spoke recently and continue to be friends."
Dave also stated: "All I asked for was an apology for blaming me for something I didn't do. I am still willing to play, but the promoter would rather not apologize and prefers to say I asked him to lie, which I didn't."

The band featuring ex-KILLSWITCH ENGAGE vocalist Howard Jones called DEVIL YOU KNOW are filming their first music video for the track "Seven Years Alone" stay tuned for more info!

STEVE GRIMMETT'S GRIM REAPER and his line-up of 80's metal band GRIM REAPER will play in the U.S. for the first time since 1987. They are set to lay on April 5 at the Ragnarökkr Metal Apocalypse festival at Reggies bar in Chicago, Illinois.

KATAKLYSM's drummer Oli Beaudoin did a walk-through of his drum set while in Pratteln, Switzerland on January 27th.  He went through his drum setup of his Roland Hybrid Drumming System. video below:

Spiralarms stated Feb 9th on Facebook:
"We want to thank everyone who made it out to Andy Galeon's first gig with us last night at the Milk Bar in SF! It was a torrential rain in monsoon conditions and the place was STILL packed. It was also great to see the flux of people who strolled in from the Kirk Hammett's Fear Festival after Death Angel wrapped up their set."
