My daughter captured me with her iPhone getting the bugs out, after sitting for over a year.... 5.0 Mustang LX (1989 Carolina Ford Dealers Special Edition aka: CFD-25 edition or Carolina Special they were called) Carolina Ford Dealers network was a major NASCAR sponsor back in the day and Mark Martin and Jeff Gordon actually drove the Carolina Ford Dealers T-birds in the late '80s - early '90s. Carolina Ford Dealers special ordered 500 oxford white w/ red trim LX models (hatch, notch and vert LX models) all with same options, to commemorate the Mustangs 25th anniversary in 1989. All CFD-25 cars will have a DSO# 022. If it doesn't have the 022 DSO# than it is not a CFD-25 model.
