The Celebrate Hyde Park Festival of Lights event, held Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., was the third in the series of neighborhood soirees designed to bring together residents and area friends for a day of fun along 53rd Street and Nichols Park. The day's activities kicked-off with "Brunch with Santa," from 10 a.m. to noon at Pizza Capri. Kids and parents hung out with Mr. Claus himself during the brunch, took pictures and enjoyed the food. Other fun-filled activities took place in Nichols Park, ending with a community reception and singing at 1530 E. 53rd Street, later that evening. ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/UCHICAGOytSubscribe About #UChicago: Since its founding in 1890, the University of Chicago has been a destination for rigorous inquiry and field-defining research.
