White house press secretary Sean Spicer said American beef producers are preparing to ship U.S. beef to Chinese markets for the first time since 2003 on Monday’s daily press briefing. Spicer said that last month, as part of the U.S.-China 100-Day Action Plan that followed up the President's meeting with President Xi, China agreed to reopen this $2.5 billion market to American ranchers and cattle producers.
