As on the first of the intermediate days of Passover (Chol Hamoed), Temple Mount police failed to exercise any control over a large, violent crowd of Muslims who surrounded and followed the Jewish worshipers every where they went, screaming insults and chanting nationalist slogans. Like yesterday, hundreds of Jews arrived hoping to fulfill the commandment of being in the place of the Holy Temple during the seven day Passover pilgrimage festival. Like yesterday, many were compelled to leave disappointed as the police severely limited the number of Jews they allowed up to the Temple Mount. It was reported that a Jewish teenager was arrested and removed from the Temple Mount for questioning by the police after he asked a friend to film him while he was saying "the Temple Mount belongs to the Jews."
