Smite Arena Gameplay and commentary featuring Chang'e: Goddess of the Moon and my cooldown reduction/damage mitigation focused build called "MasterJack." "MasterJack" Build: Shoes of Focus, Breastplate of Valor, Divine Ruin, Gem of Isolation, Ethereal Staff, Void Stone. Gameplay Stats: 9/3/18 (kills/deaths/assists) "MasterJack" Build: Chang'e is not a jack of all trades - she's a master of them. She can do everything well. This build focuses on buffing her cooldown reduction to the 40% max and building for survivability and longevity in team fights with breastplate of valor, void stone and ethereal staff. The slow from Gem of Isolation adds additional utility to her skills that now come up 40% faster, and Divine Ruin allows her to virtually shut down any healers on the opposing team. Even with this, she has plenty of damage to finish off kills and provide some serious offensive pressure to the opposing team's squishy characters. If there are no healers on the other team, swap out Divine Ruin for a Rod of Tahuti and watch the enemies melt away. Match Report: Chang'e can do everything. She can deal damage like a mage, support nearly as well as a Hel, provide insane utility and team stun potential like an Ares, and can become immune to all damage every 12 seconds. I even heard she can cook! Damn, I think I just found wifey. Change is one of the most fun Gods to play and in Arena she truly shines, bringing an arsenal of abilities that can instantly help the team change the tide of a fight. In my opinion Chang'e is best built with a bit of tankyness and a focus on cooldown reduction, allowing her to stay in fights longer and get off more abilities. Her ultimate is one of the more powerful abilities in the game and with her cool down percentage maxed I found myself questioning the fairness of having it available so often. It is such a good way to secure kills or turn the tide of a team fight, and it makes Chang'e a formidable weapon in the 5v5 Smite arena scenario. She is absolutely a top-tier god in arena as she can play a dual role of mage and/or support without really compromising damage, healing potential or survivability. Add in her team stun ultimate and she gets my vote for the best mage/support in the arena gameplay format. Subscribe to stay tuned to more Smite arena gameplay, builds, tips and more!
