A 17 year old SWPS student and keen photographer, Charlotte has travelled all over taking pictures and experiencing different cultures. In October 2012 she volunteered at Bantuma School, Ghana, and here she shares her experiences and what she learnt about community. Charlotte is also a hooker for Egham Women's Rugby team and has her own YouTube channel for her music. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
