Strong tremors felt across SE China's Fujian Province

In southern China strong tremors were felt in Hong Kong and across the coastal Fujian Province, as a  6.2-magnitude earthquake hit the Taiwan Strait early Monday morning. Some residents in Fujian said they could feel their cars shaking as they drove, with more claiming they saw furniture moving. Students in cities such as Xiamen and Zhangzhou were evacuated to safe, open spaces. Rail authorities said some 40 trains were delayed. No casualties have yet been reported.
