Wife Tells Police About Threat To KC City Manager

Police are investigating an alleged threat on the life of Kansas City Manager Wayne Cauthen. Officers said they learned of the threat Tuesday night when they responded to a call on a domestic argument. Police said a woman told them that her husband had recently been fired from City Hall for making racial slurs. The woman said her husband threatened to kill her and Cauthen, and that he also said he was going to "shoot up City Hall." Capt. Rich Lockhart said police are taking the report "very seriously."
