How to add words to iPhone dictionary (iOS 12)

iOS doesn’t allow users to create new words to the dictionary (vocabulary?). However, here is a workaround incase your iPhone doesn’t adapt to the words you are using over time. Go to contacts app and create a new contact by tapping the plus button on the top right corner. Type the word you want as the first name and leave all the other fields blank. Now your iPhone will know the new word. What’s your favorite expression to use while texting?
