Here we are in Canaan, Connecticut, where we see BSRM 9935, an excursion train chartered for the day by the Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts from the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum. Canaan is the place where the New Haven Railroad's Berkshire Line crossed the Central of New England's Hartford Line at a diamond right in front of the station, which is why there are two platforms, and why the station is really long on two sides. Today's consist is RS3M 9935 and SW9 9128 and 6 ex-DL&W MU cars. This is the first time that the 9128 has ever been coupled to a passenger train. Enjoy the sound of the idling of the 567's. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on May 16th, 2009.
