Whisky.com tastes the Octomore Meleager. The Meleager is in the Renegate series. It is one of  Mark Rene's personal bottling. It is 6 years old and was matured in french wine casks and american oak casks.

The nose:
There is quite a level of peat smoke but not 4 times as other Islay malts. Quite smelly, as I don't like too heavily peated malts.
The taste: 
Intense and strong with spiciness with a faint sweetness.
The finish:
Heavy peat smoke for a long time with ashy notes
