Eviction Notice Served On Pan Trinbago

Steelpan's governing body, Pan Trinbago, may soon be in search of new headquarters. This, after receiving a Notice from the owners of Amar Properties Developers Ltd for outstanding monies. The property is owned by Ricky Amar, the brother of Robert Amar who lost his seat in Sunday's election for President of the pan fraternity to Beverley Ramsey-Moore. Speaking to TTT News, Mr. Amar said the pan fraternity is in arrears of up to four months. He has given Pan Trinbago seven days to pay up, and said the matter has nothing to do with his brother. The new Pan Trinbago Executive took up office on Wednesday morning. Newly-elected President Beverley Ramsey-Moore, speaking to the media following a closed door meeting, said she was not alarmed by the Notice. Mrs. Ramsey-Moore said she is hoping the pain of Mr. Amar's defeat will end and the two can thrash it out. Meanwhile, outgoing President Keith Diaz noted that Pan Trinbago is yet to receive outstanding monies from the Ministry of Education and for this year's Panorama competition.
