Obama, Merkel Say Iran Must Respect Rights

U.S. President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel presented a united front Friday (June 26th), in calling on Iran to respect the rights of its people, following a violent crackdown on protests against Iran's recent presidential election. The two leaders praised each other, despite differences on some issues, including the future of detainees at the Guantanamo Bay prison. VOA's Robert Raffaele has more.
