Borno state government is to close down all camps housing internally displaced persons in the state as government expedites action on rebuilding structures destroyed by the insurgency.

Governor Kashim Shettima stated this while receiving on behalf of victims of insurgency, relief materials presented by national logistics committee in Maiduguri.
