Reworked the accelerator and the clutch cables in my TBird, also replaced the accelerator pedal assembly and put a new clutch Quadrant and Firewall adjuster in there. This repair/modification made a significant difference to my pedal feel. It is like driving a brand new car! Amazing. I am so happy to have sorted this out. New clutch cable, quadrant and firewall adjuster. All Maximum Motorsports. Most expensive, but people have said it will be the last one you will ever buy because it is so good. I concur. Factory OEM Ford very good used throttle / accelerator cable. I needed to buy a Holley products "throttle ball" kit part number 20-2 which had a few in them to chose from. Needed this to hook the end of the cable up to the throttle body linkage.
