Approx 12 Klicks each way Started at 09:00 am and finished at 4:30 pm Approx 45 minute lunch break at Wattamolla before turning back. Fairly knackered by the end of it, but feeling great after the fact. We camped at the Bonnie Vale camp grounds. Awesome scenery along the way. Totally Recommend this track for the keen bush walker. If you decide to undertake this bush walk, you must be prepared. MUST Carry Items: Mobile Phone for emergencies At least 4 litres of water Basic First Aid Kit Snake Bite Kit - At least 3 conforming bandages, small gauze pad Camera Food to replenish your energy, terrain is rocky, sandy and there are several inclines. I was carrying 5 litres of water in my pack. 2.5 litres in the water bladder inside my 511 Rush 12 backpack a 1 litre bottle in my 511 water bottle pouch molly strapped to the side of my backpack 1.5 litres in a plastic bottle inside my backpack 2 tins of tuna in olive oil 1 tin of sardines in tomato sauce a small bag of roasted Almonds a small bag of mixed fruit a muesli bar with maple syrup a chocolate bar It was approx. 25 degrees Celcius. We had a swim at little Marley beach on the way back to cool off. The water was refreshingly beautiful and crystal clear. If you decide to go swimming at either Marley or Little Marley beaches, remember these beaches are not patrolled by Life Guards, you swim at your own risk. If the surf is too rough, do not go into the water, large waves and currents may make it difficult for you to exit the water. Totally worth the effort, magnificent views of the ocean and bushland. I hope you enjoy this video. More to come soon. Cheers and Happy Camping !
