NintendoCade presents a detailed look at the FINAL showcase of the Nintendo World Store featuring the original art and level designs from Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The Nintendo World Store closed on January 19, 2016 for renovation and reopened its doors as Nintendo New York on February 19, 2016. As part of celebrating 30 years since the release of Super Mario Bros in 1985 for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and the recent release of Super Mario Maker for the Nintendo Wii U, a special museum showcase commemorating this occasion was on display for all to enjoy. A must see for all visiting are the Super Mario Bros. original artwork, sketches, and level design papers by game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka from 1985. Learn how they originally created those classic Super Mario Bros. levels, how they came up with specific ideas, and understand the technical and creative process in designing this amazing video game. Be sure to stay until the far end of this video to see everything. There is photo slide show at the end of this presentation to give you a closer look at all the art pieces presented in this final showcase of the Nintendo World Store. A portion of this museum showcase display is still present at the Nintendo New York Store as of posting this video.
