Commission Orders Afghan Officials to Invalidate Results

The UN-backed Electoral Complaints Commission, or ECC, is charged with investigating reports of fraud in Afghanistan's presidential election, held in August. In a statement released Monday, the ECC said there is clear and convincing evidence of fraud at 210 polling sites. It's now up to Afghanistan's Independent Election Commission (the IEC) to confirm or deny the findings. If they are confirmed, a run-off would be next. VOA's Laurel Bowman has that story.
