Patrick Droney won the Robert Johnson Star Award in 2006 as one of the country's most promising young musicians. He has been the support band for such music icons as BB King and the late James Brown. 
 
In addition to his guitar playing and original song writing, Patrick also strives to make a difference in the world. He has actively supported Hurricane Katrina victims and along with his sister, has helped raised thousands of dollars for various children's charities. 

He made his national recording debut in 2008 with The Other Side, featuring rock songs with impressive guitar solos that are rhythmically and lyrically heartfelt. He also co-wrote with Breaking Benjamin, and 3 Doors Down on his debut album. 

Now based in New York City, Droney is attending NYU Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music where he is currently playing in the city with both his band and as a session guitarist His upcoming EP is due for release in the new year.
