This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Arvin and Cohen don't want you to listen to what society tells you. Don't be afraid to do what you want to do no matter how old or young you are, because when you do what you believe in you will accomplish great things.

Arvin Bayat was born on October 15, 1999 in Sydney, Australia. Arvin is from Persian background. Arvin attends Redfield College, Dural and has attended the school for most of his school life so far. He is now in Grade 9. He started ArCoD with his best friend, Cohen Bosworth, in 2011. Their first product was a website that provided homework and school events reminders for their friends. Ever since then, they continued to create new innovations, opportunities and profits. Arvin loves electronics and hopes one day that everyone can use his inventions to make their daily lives more easy and productive. This is what inspired him to start ArCoD and do what he loves best. Arvin also has a great passion for business and marketing. His favourite subjects in school are Math, Science, Commerce & Language. During his free time, Arvin enjoys sketching and designing new products, experimenting and tinkering with different electronic parts in the house, listening to music, playing the piano and guitar and as most teenagers do, play video games. He also loves to play basketball.


Cohen Bosworth is 15 years-old and is the cofounder of ArCoD, a consumer technology
start-up focused on developing and marketing cool products and services that can be used
anywhere. From a very young age, Cohen has had a natural ability and a keen interest in
electronics and technology. At the age of 11, Cohen together with his best friend Arvin
Bayat, started ArCoD. Their first product was a website that provided homework and
school events reminders for their friends. Ever since then, they continued to create new
innovations, opportunities and profits. Cohen is in Year 9 and is a student of Redfield
College, Dural. His favourite subjects are Science, Design & Technology and Latin. Like
most teenagers, he enjoys playing video games and sport. And perhaps unlike most
teenagers, he is often found fixing a device or providing IT support to family, friends and
teachers.
