A song about finding solitude.

Also: huge shout out to the weather gods for providing with the perfect conditions to shoot this tiny video, by the time that I was almost done recording anyway. Of course I expect their support again, should I ever decide to make a song called something along the lines of "in a hammock on a warm, sunny day".. :)

Lyrics:
'You're coming back here' is what they said
'You're living in a dream world, kid'
And I don't know how it all ends
but like a feather in the wind
I head towards places unseen

A car by the road
Headlights on, but the seats are cold
Don't know which way to go

That's why I, I leave you footprints in the snow
So you can find me when I go
I won't be back for long, I know
So won't you find me

'Till the end of days', she said
'I'll follow you until the end'
And I don't know how long I'll stay
but as the night consumes the day
Creaking wood turns me away

A girl in the cold
Things all packed in the bag the she holds
Lost in the vertigo

That's why I, I leave you footprints in the snow
So you can find me when I go
I won't be back for long, I know
No, I won't
