On October 29, 2017, at 8:01 pm, 25th District officers along with the fire department responded to a radio call for fire on the 3600 block of North Lawrence Street. When police arrived they found a vehicle, that was parked at a body shop for repairs, engulfed in flames and extinguished by the fire department. The fire marshal responded to the scene and deemed the fire an arson. Surveillance video recovered from the area depicts three unknown males when one male approaches the vehicle when the fire was started. After the fire was ignited the suspects fled the area in an unknown direction. If you see these suspects do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
