On this week's episode of Pet Dish TV we meet Khali, the dog who never quits. Despite a tough start to life, that included a severe spinal injury, Khali is proving that she can do anything she sets her mind to. This 1-year-old Chihuahua has partial paralysis and every day she, with the help of her owner, participates in physical therapy. The hope is that one day Khali will beat the odds and be able to run. Animal Humane Society is an open admission shelter, which means we take in every animal that comes to us. Regardless of age, breed, or health, no animal is turned away. We're able to place, on average, about 95 percent of those animals. We're very fortunate, we have a strong support system throughout Minnesota with many people looking to adopt.
