Homeowner arrested nearly a year after firefighter Wolterman was killed

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) - Nearly a year after Hamilton firefighter Patrick Wolterman was killed in a house fire, authorities have announced the arrest of the homeowner on aggravated arson and murder charges. Lester Parker, 66, is charged with murder and aggravated arson. Wolterman went into the burning home on Pater Ave. on Dec. 28, 2015, to search for possible victims. The floor collapsed plunging Wolterman to the basement. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries. Investigators determined shortly after that it was intentionally set. At the time, investigators said the family that lives at the was in Las Vegas at the time of the fire. Chief Craig Bucheit says he can't comment on that or a possible motive but that the details will come out during the trial.
