Sacajawea, made famous, by her association with the Lewis and Clark Expedition in the early 1800's. This clay portrays this young Shoshone woman, who was kidnapped at the age of 12, in 1800, on what is now the Jefferson River, near Three Forks Montana. Today I work on that scene on the base relief. Then I work on the scene where she is reunited with her brother.
