On Monday, October 8, 2018, at 4:25 pm, an unknown black male the Five Below store located at 701 Market Street. The suspect then approached the counter and handed an employee, a 24 year-old female, a handwritten note demanding money while holding his hand in a canvas bag simulating that he had a weapon. The employee then gave the suspect an unknown amount of money from the cash register and when she went to hand him the money, she noticed that the bag he was holding was empty. The employee tried to pull the money back and began to struggle with the suspect dropping the money. The suspect then fled on foot and was last seen west on Market Street. Suspect Description: Black male, 40 years-of-age, 5'11", thin build, wearing a blue shirt with “Affliction" written on it, light blue jeans, and a blue baseball cap.
