The King’s Academy marching band, known as The King’s Regiment, provided a grand “welcome home” performance to honor 82 local veterans. The award-winning 36 student marching band greeted the veterans at the traditional Honor Flight “Operation Homecoming” on October 13th in full red, white and blue regalia trumpeting their appreciation for the veterans’ service with their gift of music. Southeast Florida Honor Flight’s fourth and final flight of the 2018 season was historic, honoring veterans from three different wars WWII, Korean War and the long-awaited addition of Vietnam War veterans.
