It's time to dip into a new series as with a Switch release bringing it to more hands we take on Nihon Falcom's Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana!
As Adol Christin sails towards Xandria on the ship Lombardia the passengers soon meet trouble as a Kraken attacks, the curse of Seiren Island striking again....
With the castaways scattered and with Adol awaking in unknown terrain an adventure begins!

Having warped back to Dana's perspective we attempt to help Adol's group once more, however hide and seek is our current goal as we look for the friend of Mia & Sia, leading us to find the Sanctuary Crypt below.
With exploring having challenged us as we find Io, we then open the way for Adol as he heads for the great tree temple finding Brachion guarding it.
