The swirling method for this soap is a combination faux funnel swirl and a couple spoon swirls. The color tutorial is a return to the analogous color scheme. Colors adjacent to each other on the color wheel are usually harmonious and lower in contract, that is, without deliberately altering the colors values with white or black or the addition of the colors' opposites to lessen the intensity. I use color theory as a guide to find color combinations that I feel are compatible with the fragrance at hand. In this case, a small amount of black was used to add some definition to the swirls.
