Includes man dressed as a woman. Night club scene involving female naked bathing and a woman in a skimpy dress.

The plan is to seduce the Duke and takeover the throne. Cliff is in drag disguised as a woman (transvestite) Mademoiselle Julie, wearing wig and a fur stole, and the Duke, in military uniform, is infatuated. He invites Mlle Julie to his palace the following day.

The cabaret begins with several semi nude women diving into a pool.
The Prince is now infatuated with Vanette and tempts her to jump in the pool by throwing a pearl ring into it, saying she will win his heart if she finds it. She agrees and jumps in to find the ring (and so is engaged to him?)

Meanwhile Cliff (in drag as Julie) and Carlos have gone to see the Duke at the palace. This in fact looks more like a german army headquarters (the film is re-release, plot completely altered).  The Duke is once more enchanted by Julie in her enormous hat with of feathers, and they agree to meet that afternoon on the beach to swim - Julie requests to wear her/his one-piece bathing suit, and says the Duke shall recognise her by her striped stockings!

On the beach at 3 o'clock - the ruler Al Faffa in hopping about in his skimpy shorts and stripy umbrella with matching socks. The duke sees him from a distance across the rocks and mistakes him for Julie. He reaches him and tickles his feet, saying Here I Am Dear. The ruler awakes and is salutes, and the duke looks disgruntled and walks off.

Meanwhile, Cliff/Julie and Carlos are trying to find out the 'dope' on the Duke's plans. They are rummaging through things, letters in the palace, and find a note from General Jimmy saying he awaits orders to strike and overthrow the government to crown the Duke.  The duke arrives back from the beach, and Julie apologises saying Carlos has been nursing her. The Duke promises they will go swimming.

Back at the beach Al Faffa 'finally' goes swimming. We see him dive off a rock into the sea. Back in her room, Vanette recounts to Jacques her happiness of the night before. She reclines on a sofa, and examines the ring she had 'won' - it has two balls on it, intertwined. Flashback to the cabaret/café royal scene and vanette retrieving the ring from the swimming pool. As before, Jacques tries to embrace her but the Prince is there to receive her triumphant. 

The duke has raved about Julie so much that Prince Halbere requests her presence, to give her the 'Double-O" himself (two eyes looking her over?) - she is at the palace looking nervous, and the Prince arrives in his military uniform with monocle, smoking a pipe, and looks at her. He flatters her, looking smarmy with his large moustache. She tells him to remember, "I am a lady". The prince runs and locks the door, so they will not be disturbed. He takes his hat off and says "You're going to make a hit with me", "KEE-RECT" (Correct?). We see close up of Julie/Cliff's hand clenching. As the Prince approaches, predatory, Julie punches him in the face. He falls over, shocked, and says "Who did that?". She replies "Have another" and they rumble, fighting, and as they do so Julie's hat and wig fall off.
