Britain’s oldest twins have celebrated their 102nd birthday – despite being fighting fit and looking as though they’re in their sixties.

Non-identical Phyllis Jones and Irene Crump, who live together in Stourport on Seven, Worcs, today [Tues, Nov 20] marked the occasion with a "drop in" party for family and friends.

The pair, who were born in 1916, with Phyllis being the older twin - born twenty-five minutes before Irene have seen four reigning monarchs, twenty prime ministers and two World Wars.

And Phyllis and Irene claim eating lots of fish and two strong drinks at a time is the key to looking decades younger.
