This is the second part of my video from Friday August 19, 2011, which was my third day of sightseeing in New York City. This video discusses my experience going through security before boarding the Ferry to Liberty Island. During the ferry ride I also took lots of video of the approach to the Statue of Liberty. On the Island I enjoyed the view of the iconic New York City skyline. I also walked all the way around the base of the Statue and appreciated how large it was! I then went inside of the base of the Pedestal and went through a museum showing the history of the Statue of Liberty. I was guided through by a park ranger, who seemed to know absolutely everything about the Statue. Check out my next video to see my climb to the top of the pedestal and the amazing view from up there. That video also covers my whole trip to Ellis Island. Thanks for Watching! Please SUBSCRIBE!
