Learn how to add sun flares and lens flares to your photos in Adobe Photoshop. This tutorial shows you 2 ways on how I create sun flares from scratch using the simple tools built right inside of Photoshop.

In the first technique, we only use the brush tool and then change the layer's blending mode to screen.
The second technique uses a gradient adjustment layer.
