Some of those fatalities could have been
prevented by people substituting safer
cars for their original cars. The purpose of
this video is to encourage people to have
safety in a high priority when buying motor
vehicles, so that precious lives can be
saved. After all, people basically cannot be
replaced but cars can be replaced. Besides,
losing a loved one has a great and long-term
emotional impact.
In 2014, more than 1 in every 10000
Americans were killed by road
traffic accidents. This is way higher than
that of most other developed countries.
This is too high and unacceptable.
IIHS: 32675 USA road fatalities

note: Some vehicles' earlier
models' ratings also apply
to later models. It is
because they all have
identical frames and identical
safety feature designs.
