In November 2013, I visited the picturesque German town of Wernigerode in the state of Saxony Anhalt, for the purposes of visiting the Brocken. I stayed for two nights at the Hotel Zur Post, which is a lovely traditional establishment in the town centre. This film features external shots of the building, a bedroom inspection, the bathroom, restaurant and some of the excellent food sampled during my visit. I have to say that this was a really good hotel, and that I enjoyed my stay very much. The only down side was that it did not have a lift, this is something to be aware of, particularly for those with mobility issues.
