The City of Allen has created a unique, innovative employee motivational program that has evolved from a reward and recognition program into a new customer service driven culture. The organizational value statement "Serving with P.R.I.D.E." means: • People First - Giving priority to others • Respect - Treating others with courtesy and dignity • Integrity - Serving with honesty, trust, and hard work • Deliver - Following through on commitments while exceeding expectations • Excel - Creating an innovative and improving work environment The P.R.I.D.E. program recognizes and rewards employees who go the extra mile to provide professional, quality customer service, including all full-time and part-time personnel. Employees can be rewarded in many different ways. Annually, City of Allen employees are honored with the Excellence in P.R.I.D.E. awards. Five award winners are chosen, each for best reflecting one of our organizational values . These employees receive a trophy and are recognized in the "Employee Hall of P.R.I.D.E." exhibit for the entire year.
