In the early morning breeze of August 28th, the illustrious Hurricane Irene struck New York City and caused some serious flooding and damage in Brooklyn and Queens but not to Manhattan. On the aftermath of the passing hurricane, I decided to go out and film some of the lonely streets of my neighborhood. I made a long loop of 7th and 5th avenue trying to get some shots of the empty and deserted streets of New York. It was a pretty amazing sight. Times Square is never empty but today, there was barely any people walking around. It was a pretty interesting sight. I chose not to add any music to this video so I can let you hear the silent streets of New York. It seems rather noisy but it is usually a lot more noisy. There are some good shots that I really like in this video. I hope you enjoy this! All the footage was taken with my Nikon D-3100. No Copyright Infringement Intended. This Is A Non-Profit Fan Edit.
